If you modify the registry database with edrgy, changes are not immediately propagated to /etc/passwd and /etc/group. If you list these files shortly after the change, they still show the old information. You can force the new database changes by invoking 'rgy_admin' and put the registry in "state -in_maintenance" immediately followed by "state -not_in_maintenance". This is terrible.
