[comp.sys.apollo] SR10.1.p crp should not be used for unix style logins

e07@nikhefh.nikhef.nl (Eric Wassenaar) (12/18/89)

If one works in a unix environment, logging in to another node
using crp may not give you what you thought.
If your login shell is /bin/csh, you get a c shell allright, but
it is not a regular 'login shell' in the sense that it does not go
through ~/.login
Also, your 'tty' (some /dev/crp??) cannot be set to the proper
ownership and mode, so various commands may not work.
