Please excuse me if I don't do this right. This is the first time I've posted in a very LONG time. Our problem is this: we are running a dominately SUN NFS network with a couple of Apollo's attached to it. We have a DN4500 acting as the gateway from the NFS network to the Apollo ringnet. We want to be able to remotely log into the Apollo and work on files located on a SUN disk. Currently, we cannot compile and link C programs successfully due to an incompatability with access permissions between the SUNs and the Apollos. We are running OS 10.1 on the Apollos and SUN 4.0.0.x OS. Question: will the new Apollo OS 10.2 help us out? Or will it help us and hurt us in new ways? Please excuse me if the topic has been discussed already. Thank you. Carol Hatcher
