Does anyone have sources for a word-wrapping version of the dm editor, similar to that used by the mkapr command? Would HP/Apollo be willing to provide the sources? Andrew D. Nimmo -- | Andrew D. Actually the DM edit pad has a (undocumented) 'ww' command that does just that. You can invoke it in the following ways: 1) ww 2) ww -on 3) ww -off 4) ww -c XX 1) toggles the word-wrap action on and off. 2) wraps at the last character position available in the window. If the window gets reshaped, the wrap position does NOT change. 3) switches off whatever word-wrap setting is in use. 4) ww -c XX sets the word-wrap at character position XX. mkapr uses 'ww -c 75', I guess. Of course 'ww' can only be used on an edit pad. Hope this helps, Achille Petrilli Cray & PWS operations P.s.: I seem to remember that 'ww' did not work under 9.7
