This is kinda way out, but I've been dreaming up strange ways to connect a couple of dinosaurs. One's an old Masscomp computer, and the other is a DSP80. Both have standard (PERTEC I think you call it) tape drive interfaces. Is there any way I could program the dsp80 to act like a tape drive and receive whatever data gets sent out the Masscomp's tape interface? If I put a tape drive with two ports on it in between the two, could I configure things so that the tape drive relays input from one port as output to the other port?
