At our Digital Systems group are two Domain rings which are connected through the campus ethernet backbone. On these we want to use a NFS to connect the file systems. The reasons for this: We don't want a mixed SR9.7 <=> SR10 system. Each ring has it's own type ofusers which should not mix But we do want to share data, and that's were the trouble comes in: - The NFS 1.0 for OS9.7 does connect with our Sun on that same ethernet. ( No problem what so ever ) - The NFS 2.1 for out OS10.1 also connects to that same Sun with no problems. - The two apollo NFS-systems do not want to mount each others systems. on mounting ( mount -o soft, root eb1:// //ring1 ) it responds with mount: eb1:// on //ring1: Access denied. And I've gone multiple times over all filesinvolded, but must be missing something Does anybody out there have any suggestion please??
