We have a bunch of Wyse 50 terminals that were purchased for our BSD4.3 VAX. I'd like to connect one directly to Apollo (rather than rlogin from the VAX), but am unable to get the "Back Space" and "Del" keys to work. I'm using the same terminal on both machines and have even tried the VAX termcap entry on Apollo with no success. Any ideas? The "yh" termcap entry on both machines is the same: w1|wy|wy50:\ :tc=w50: ye|w50|wyse50|Wyse 50:\ :al=\EE:am:bs:bt=\EI:cd=\EY:ce=\ET:cl=^Z:cm=\E=%+ %+ :co#80:\ :dc=\EW:dl=\ER:do=^J:ei=\Er:im=\Eq:is=\E`\072\200\EC\EDF\E0\E'\E(\EA21:\ :kd=^J:kl=^H:kr=^L:ku=^K:li#24:nd=^L:up=^K:us=\EG8:ue=\EG0:\ :so=\EG4:se=\EG0:sg#1:sr=\Ej:ho=^^:ug#1: # it is not known if the status line works with sysline yh|w50-s|wyse50-s|Wyse 50 for sysline:\ :hs:ts=\Ef:fs=\r:ds=\Ef\r:es:so=\EGp:tc=w50: "stty everything" on both machines gives the same options: new tty, speed 2400 baud, 24 rows, 80 columns even odd -raw -nl echo -lcase -tandem -tabs -cbreak crt: (crtbs crterase crtkill ctlecho) -tostop -tilde -flusho -mdmbuf -litout -pass8 -nohang -pendin -decctlq -noflsh erase kill werase rprnt flush lnext susp intr quit stop eof ^H ^? ^W ^R ^O ^V ^Z/^Y ^C ^\ ^S/^Q ^D The entry in /etc/ttys on Apollo is: sio1 "/etc/getty std.2400" yh on -------------------------------------------------------------- Bob Schultz uunet!cipher!rgs Cipher Data Products, Inc.
