[comp.sys.apollo] two drive DN3000

houghton@iuvax.cs.indiana.edu (Ric) (02/19/90)

Can anyone suggest how easy it might be to run two drives on a
  DN3000 running SR10.1?

I can't seem to find any documentation on this and our Apollo/Hp
takes several tries before you can get any information from him.

We have an extra 70 meg drive (with controller) that I would like
to install in either of two machines, one has a 70 meg, the other
  has a 360 meg.

    Thanks for any help.

Apollo doesn't officially support more than one drive on the
DN3000. Two or four drives are supported on the DN3500, DN4000,
and DN4500. All of the drives must be of the same type. If it
will work at all, you'll have to add the 70MB drive to the machine
which already has other 70MB drive (presumably, an identical model).
