[comp.sys.apollo] unix csh 'set filec' on Apollo

jlhaferman@l_cae05.icaen.uiowa.edu (Jeffrey Lawrence Haferman) (03/09/90)

I use /bin/csh as my shell on an Apollo running 10.2

I can't get the 'set filec' (file completion) to work.
I am not the sys-admin here, but I brought the problem to
their attention and we haven't found a solution. I
suspect something is configured wrong.

If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

I use "filec" on our 4000 and 10000 running SR10.1 and it works fine,
except when it dislays the rest of the filename, it backups 2 characters
first. So the completed name is munged, but the shell knows what it is.
