We have one Apollo Domain 2500 with a disk and one 2500 without a disk. They both run Domain/OS SR10.2 and X11 release 4 from MIT as the only window system. They both show the following behaviour (we also have a Domain 3000 that does NOT show this behaviour): At unpredictable times the window system crashes. A small vertical bar with a "random" pixel pattern over the full screen height shows up. After a few seconds the screen becomes black and the window system seems dead. Via the other machine we can login to the "crashed" machine. The ps command shows that there is still a xdm and Xapollo process. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? What could it be?
