Well the response to my last posting was non-existent so I'm trying again. Somebody out there must be running NCSA Telnet on their Macs to telnet to nodes in an apollo ring through IPT's uShare board. The apollo with the board should be acting as an internet/appletalk gateway but for some reason the packets are getting lost. I seem to be able to ping the mac running telnet but I think that what is happening is that the apollo is mapping the packets addressed to the mac to itself. If you have any insights or suggestions please send me mail. Seth Goldman ARPA: seth@CS.UCLA.EDU UUCP: ...!{ihnp4,cepu,trwspp,sdcrdcf,ucbvax}!ucla-cs!seth USMail: A.I.
