As some of you may have experienced, some programs that used to run an Apollos under 9.7 do not run under 10.2. We have a big Aircraft design package (125000 lines of code) that seems to throw sudden fits when running (after being compiled) under 10.2 The core of the package is written in Pascal although that should not hinder it under the new OS. Docuementation for 10.2 says that there are some things that became obsolete/changed but I could only narrow it down to pathnames, reading directory entries, one new pad$_ function. My question to all out there who have had to adapt software that run under 9.7 to 10.2. What one should look out for ? Is there a manual for obsolete/changed system calls ? I ofcourse come out from the supposition that the code will run if all the system calls are OK. Thanks to all who have responed regarding the chacl function. I will persue, but first things first. -- Merlin [The Magician] (AKA Michal Chmielewski) US Mail: Academic Computing Services, Univ. of Kansas, Lawrence, KS 66045, USA E-mail : michal@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu, michal@ukanvax.bitnet, AT&T (913)-864-0443
