I've been told that the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has a bunch of really cool color tables for visualization, and I've seen them used on Nova specials. Are they available to the public in papers, or something? I'd like to get my hands on them, I use some crazy color tables that are neat, but have so real underlying meaning, whereas it seems that the JPL tables are thought out.
