Has anyone tried running Mentor Graphics version 7.0 on 3500/4500's running OS10.2? Does the Mentor Graphics software work or at least mostly work? Also, I've tried setting up an anonymous FTP site on a 4500 running OS10.1 and I get the following error: 550 Can't set guest privileges. Login failed. I guess uucico is running, I put a file called "uucico" in /etc/daemons anyway. Since I can't find a manual on the anonymous ftp stuff, I just added an "ftp" user and then tried to add, LOGNAME=ftp READ=//lion/usr/ftp NOWRITE=//lion/usr/ftp in "/usr/lib.uucp/Permissions" file when it didn't work the first time. Changing the Permissions file didn't change anything. So could someone tell me what's wrong or tell me what manual to look in. Thanks, ps.
