The NCS we sell in src form builds and runs nicely on our Sun4s here. The reasons why it is not (yet) available in SPARC binary form have nothing to do with the OSF and everything to do with our ability to support an expanding number of binary NCS releases with a limited number of people. If you can get by with a single-threaded implementation, a "port" of the 1.5.1 source product to a Sun4 should be an easy afternoon's work. If you need portable CPS multithreading, more effort will be required. I realize that this is not the answer everyone wants to hear, and I can assure you that for the next release of NCS, SPARC binary support will be a high priority.
