I have recently purchased a DN3500. It is connected via ethernet to a network containing several SUN SPARCstations. It is my impression that it is possible to do my (Apollo) backups on the SUN's cartridge tape devices. Is this true? If true which documents should I look through for the appropriate information? I know I can ftp any relevant files/cpio'd directory trees to the SUN and then wbak on the SUN. However, (of course) I would like to wbak directly onto the tape from the APOLLO. B.T.W. I am running O.S. 10.2. Thank You for any and all responses. I will summarize and post the solution to this problem or will forward the solution to anyone interested. Peter J.
