[comp.sys.apollo] Problems with logging on.

I recently bought an apollo and was able to logon
as root until yesterday. Now it does not recognise 
the password. Previously I could not change the password
although I was logged on as root.

The tape I was supplied for boot does not work either.

Can anyone help?
