[comp.sys.apollo] Inverse images with 'XI'

danny@idacom.uucp (Danny Wilson) (06/05/90)

I am trying to use the Display manager 'XI' command to print a
portion of the monochrome screen.

	(x,y)dr;(x2,y2)xi -f /tmp/image

The output file is then printed to a Mentor Graphics SR7.0 print
server a la,

	iprf /tmp/image -plot

However, regardless of whether I have my screen displaying inverse
or not, the image printed is always white characters on a black
background. Any ideas on how can I reverse this??

The plot file is probably a GMF monochrome bitmap file. These
files do not have color maps in them. You should be able to
reverse the meaning of a '1' or '0' in the bitmap file via
the standard Apollo switch "-bw".
