I need help. I recently upgraded our DN10020 from SR10.1.p to SR10.2.p, and experience communications problems since then. The problem: Several times a day, it becomes impossible to rlogin or telnet ONTO that DN10020, while it still remains possible to use rlogin and telnet FROM that DN10020 to another node. Error messages using rlogin just say: Connection closed. Using telnet, the login will just be denied (even though login is definitely valid!), and a new login prompt appears. I don't know, what is going on, but I know that remaking the devices will clear the problem... Anybody knows a fix (other than running '/etc/mkdev /dev all' every hour)? Email is appreciated.
