Thge DN2500's use standard IBM SIMM memories, either 1MB x 9 or 4MB x 9 (ie. 9 1MB chips or 9 4MB chips on a single module), 100 ns access time or better. They must be installed in groups of either 4 1MB or 4 4MB modules. 1MB SIMMS are running less than $100 each, 4MB SIMMS are running about $500 each. You can get them from almost any IBM/PC supplier. Apollo-specific suppliers such as Clearpoint, Digitial Micronics, Dataram, MDL, etc. charge somewhat more -- on the order for $150/MB, list. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter.mit.edu@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)
