Beginning installation of ri.apollo.patch_m0121.v.1.0 Installing //acn25d10 Checking status of baseline file entry ri.apollo.patch_m0121.v.1.0 Checking status of configure file entry ri.apollo.patch_m0121.v.1.0 WARNING: Not updating /bsd4.3 - can't install through link. WARNING: Not updating /sys5.3/usr/lib/isp_m68k - can't install through link. WARNING: Not updating /bsd4.3/usr/lib/isp_m68k - can't install through link. Computing installable set for //acn25d10 Installation requires 0 blocks Now I understand the link problem, I do not have /bsd4.3 or /sys5.3 or /sr9.7_compatibility installed on every node. But why does this install patch even care? When you read the documentation it only fixes something in /usr/apollo/bin which is a real directory on all my nodes. The 'installation requires 0 blocks' seems to indicate that nothing has changed on the disk being installed. An when you look at the ts of the module in question after the install, it is obviously the old one and does not correspond to the ts of the module in the ../install/patch_m121... directory. I have run the install process twice, once as roger.sys_admin an once as root. Results have been the same. I can copy the patch module around myself, but is this the 'proper' methodology? Anyone's thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Email: roger@gw1.ags.bnl.gov Roger A.
