[comp.sys.apollo] Testing ApolloxD gcc

I'm trying to compile gcc on the Apollo (v1.37.1) with John Vasta Apollo's
patches.  When I try to test it via the "bootstrap feature". I get the
following error:

IWhen I
try to test it with "make bootstrap CCFLAGS=""" I get errors when it tries to
compile c-parset.tab, rtl, print-tress, varasm, symout,genemit,genprep,final,
genrecog,and genoutput.  The error message being "structure has no memeber
names _ptr and _base.
 
Is there something wrong with the gcc I built?
