Silicon Graphics Computer Systems in conjunction with the Ontario
Centre for Large Scale Computation will make two presentations/
demonstrations on the topic of

           "Application of High Performance Graphics
                in a Supercomputing Environment"

The speaker, Dr. Marc Ondrechen, formerly with the University of
Minnesota Supercomputing Institute, has had extensive experience in
the application of high performance graphics in supercomputing. His
talk will consist of discussions of real world research problems in
the areas of astrophysics, chemical engineering, astronomy, etc. which
have been addressed using this technology along with demonstrations of
the results of some of these applications shown on the new IRIS 4D/70
Superworkstation from Silicon Graphics.
