Hi, I am ordinarily a Sun person so I have no idea what X release is available under 10.1, 10.2, 10.3 of the Apollo operating system. I do know that 10.1 has R2 by default, but I don't know if you can get an X upgrade under 10.1 (I mean a commercial upgrade rather than MIT source-code - the people I would like to advise want commercially supported software), or exactly what you get with the newer releases of the Apollo OS. These folks would sooner get R3 or R4 under 10.1 if possible, but would also like to know what an OS upgrade gets them. SR10.1 does not come with X. You can buy a tape from Apollo (~$100) with X11R3. I did that and it works well. SR10.2 and SR10.3 (when available) comes with X11R3 built in. X11R4 is not available yet. -- Mark DiVecchio, Silogic Systems, 619-549-9841 K3FWT ----- 9888 Carroll Center Road, Suite 113, San Diego, CA 92126 ----- markd@silogic BBS 619-549-3927 ...!ucsd!celerity!celit!silogic!markd celerity!silogic!markd@ucsd.edu
