I am in the process of finding out what is the best way of synchronizing all the clocks in the network. 1) Use timed provided but then I have no choice as to who will become a master when the current master died because the machine crashes. I don't really like the idea that a diskless DN3000 becomes a master when I have a disked DN10k running. 2) Use xntp, so far, I still don't much about it. Have anyone installed this on a network of Apollos? What you think? PS: Any modification required to get it to work under Apollo are most welcome. Any other suggestion? Many thanks in advance. ------- Patrick Tang Guan Yaw, Phone : +61 6 268 8882 Dept. of Mathematics, EMAIL-ARPA/CSNET : gyp@maadfa.ma.adfa.oz.au ADFA, Canberra, 2600.
