We have been (reliably) told that the version of pcnfsd that is shipped with Sun PC-NFS is buggy. We have also been told that there was a good version (full, patch, whatever) available on the net, but it does not appear to be where it is supposed to be (comp.sources.unix achives). Does anyone know where to find it please? Answers by email would be much more sensible.. (pcnfsd is a special daemon that supports the things Messy-DOS doesn't know about. Normally you don't need it for bare bones operation, but the Apollo nfsd won't talk to PC-NFS at all. PC-NFS wants Sun NFS, but of course it refers only to 'standard NFS' which, from Sun, means 'Sun NFS') We are running an HP-Apollo 9000/400 and an Apollo 3550 with a PC compatible. Any pointers most appreciated. -- Daniel Carosone, danielce@ecr.mu.oz.au System Administrator, TeXworks (Australia) Pty. Ltd. 251 Moray Street. South Melbourne, 3205, Australia. Thanks to Richard Oxbrow, EE, University of Melbourne, who pointed me in the direction of comp.protocols.nfs Apparently the lates version was just posted there. -- Daniel Carosone, danielce@ecr.mu.oz.au System Administrator, TeXworks (Australia) Pty.
