This sounds (to me) to be misleading/misspoken/wrong. You seem to be saying that Mentor will be moving from HP/Apollo only to Sun only. Perhaps you meant to say that "... Mentor will be running only on HP/Apollo...." If not, I believe you are wrong, and will be seriously upset (may turn homicidal) if you are right. The following information is ancient (from MUG-90), but perhaps is accurate if you slip all schedules by the same amount: Mentor 8.0 will be shipping Q4 of 1990, with Sun support starting 3-6 months later, definitely AFTER the HP/Apollo release. Other platforms may be supported "depending on customer demand." My guess is that Mentor 8.0 will ship on Apollos sometime in early Q2 1991. I haven't heard anything about Sun support being pushed up, so I'd guess on late 1991 for it. I take the "other platform" support to mean that they'll port it if someone pays lotsa bucks.
