Did someone tried to use "talk" with success on APOLLO ?
We use DOMAIN_OS 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, with TCP/IP on some machines
and it does'nt seems to work ...

We have successfully used it under SR10.1 at one time. We don't currently
use it. Did you enable TALK in the /etc/inetd.conf file?

Talk works between apollos and also to many other hosts (but not to Suns ...)
The "trick" is that you must activate it from /etc/inetd.conf. Remove the
#-character which comments the ntalk line out. Then initialize the inetd
(reboot or send it a HUP (kill -HUP )).
