Do I need to purchase NFS if I just want to be an NFS client (ie. just mount someone else's disk)? Do I need to set up something special? I tried issuing an /etc/mount command but it returned with: mount: unable to exec /etc/nfsmount mount: nfsmount returned in error Thanks, Lynda.

In a word, yes. Apollo's NFS is *not* derived from the sources supplied by Sun (or wasn't back in the days when we tried it). Their implementation uses the IOS type-manager features of Domain/OS to create the NFS mount-point as a special type of file which invokes the NFS type-manager. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter.mit.edu@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)
