[comp.sys.apollo] GIF graphics on Apollo DN10000, help needed

chee1jz@jetson.uh.edu (Larry Fore) (12/13/90)

We need to view and/or convert McIntosh graphics or GIF format files
on an Apollo DN10000, and then be able to print them with an attached color
printer.

I used to have a GPR gif viewer that was floating around the net,
but I use xv and xloadimage now. Printing you can do using the pbmplus
utilities, which convert many formats, including gif, macpaint and some
pict files. Those are also available at standard FTP sites (don't ask
me where, I get by stuff off of Usenet).

I'm not sure which upsets me more; that people are so unwilling to accept
responsibility for their own actions, or that they are so eager to regulate
everyone else's.
