Is there anyone out there who is doing program development under SR 10.2
using sys5.3? We've had many problems porting our Dialogue/3DGMR
application that ran under SR 9.7 Sys5 environment to the corresponding SR
10.2 environment. I'd like to hear from people who have managed to
successfully make the transition to the new Sys5 environment.

Are most people doing new Apollo Unix development under bsd4.3? The Apollo
Tech Support people I've talked to use bsd4.3. Most of the tools
(except 3DGMR) that we acquire for Apollo seem to use the bsd environment
also. We selected Sys5 way back when, when it seemed that we would
have an easier time porting to non-Apollo machines using Sys5 (i.e. more
machines were supporting Sys5 than BSD). It doesn't seem that the support
we need is in Apollo's implementation, though.

Please send your opinions to kh22@prism.gatech.edu. E-mail is preferred, and
I'll summarize if there is sufficient interest.
