Is anyone using Danford TDI-3010 mag-tape drive interface boards and software with SR10.3 ? We heard from the HP/Apollo local office that there was a bug in the Danford hardware/software that prevented use at SR10.3. Any truth to this ? If there is a problem, does anyone know what the fix is ? Thanks in advance for the help :-)) Randy Taylor Westinghouse Electric Corp. Danford has the TDI-3010 running just fine at SR10.3. > We heard from the HP/Apollo local office that there was a bug in the Danford > hardware/software that prevented use at SR10.3. Any truth to this ? NO. The problem in question was caused by Apollo changing the way bind works at SR10.3. Users who were trying to re-install the TDI software onto a node upgraded to SR10.3 were not able to bind the pmlib and kslib libraries with the TDI routines properly. > If there is a problem, does anyone know what the fix is ? Danford has patch for the installation procedure at SR10.3. Call Danford at (213) 514-9334 for more information. > Randy Taylor Bruce Hill Project Manager Danford Corporation
