A few questions:

First of all, does anybody know (or know where i can find)
the format of the header for SAU files?

I've got *SOME* of it figured out - the first long is
the load address, the second long is the entry point,
and a bit more fun stuff (enough to get a "Hello World"
SAU7 program running... 8-), but i was wondering if
anybody knew all of it, and was willing to share...

I could also use information if people have it on the following
topics:

1) the format of the first few *PHYSICAL* blocks of an Apollo
disk (winchester or floppy), as well as the format for the
first few logical blocks of volumes, and the VTOC format...

2) More information about how the Boot PROM works to get
stuff off of a local disk and/or the network...

I found an old copy of a "Domain Series 3000/Series 4000
Hardware Architecture Handbook" lying around (printed in April '87)
and the stuff i've found in it has helped me go a long way,
but i could use some more information...

Does anybody know if a newer version of this book exists?
(like one that describes DN3500s and DN4500s?)

Thanks for any help i might get...

Please send replies to

If people want copies of the info that i get, i'll give 'em out,
so long as that's acceptable to the sender...

Thanks again -
