[comp.sys.apollo] The value/sale of Apollo workstations

apm388p@vaxc.cc.monash.edu.au (03/14/91)

The Mathematics Department at Monash has a pair of Apollo workstations
which are to be sold in the near future. If you are interested in buying
any or all of this equipment OR COULD GIVE ME AN INDICATION OF ITS VALUE
please contact me at the address or phone numbers below.

One Apollo DN560 3Mb workstation with
    19" color monitor (8-plane RGB)
    146.5 Mb Winchester hard disk
    1/4" cartridge tape drive
    3-button mouse
Aegis v9.7 and BSD 4.2 software including
FORTRAN, Pascal, C compilers and a large set of manuals

connected on an Apollo ring to:

One Apollo DN3000 3Mb(?) diskless workstation with
    16" color monitor (4-plane RGB)
    3-button mouse

and also including a HP Laserjet plus laser printer.

I would have thought all of this would be useful to anyone who already has
an Apollo system, or perhaps even to a student who wants their own *nix box
instead of a PC!

Please reply to me at apm388p@vaxc.cc.monash.edu.au or phone me on either
(03) 586 7590 or (03) 565 4486 during business hours.
