Hello, I'm in a department which has 2 Apollos, one running 10.3 and the other 9.7, attached to a University wide token ring. The 10.3 machine is running X11R4. We would like to buy 1 or 2 X-terminals and don't have much experience with them, but as I understand it the options are 1) buy something cheap like a GraphOn Optimax and attach it to the serial connector of the Apollo, using the Apollo as the X-server, 2)buying a bigger X terminal with its own X-server and attaching it via Ethernet. The Apollo has 12MB RAM and 200MB harddisc if that's a consideration. Also, how well (if at all) does X-windows work between a 10.3 running R4 and a 9.7 running R3 (I assume R4 doesn't work on the 9.7, I'm new to Apollos) If you have any experience with these sorts of things I'ld like to hear from you.
