I've sent files from 600K-1000K to our LaserWriter II and have had no problem. Of course I've had to wait 15-20 minutes for it to be processed. Bitmaps/Grayscales seem to take the longest. Consider the fact that you are tranfering data at 9600BPS! Our line characteristics are identical.

Consider the fact |> that you are tranfering data at 9600BPS! I've had similar problems. Our laser has an lcd display which comes up `IGNORE DATA' part of the way through. Check the first line of your PostScript file and remove any references to EPSF (ie: just leave the %!) - this sometimes fixes it. If you were using lpr you would almost certainly be coming up against the 132 chars/line limit imposed by lpr. If your prsvr has the wrap option set to `off' it will truncate lines at the right margin, which also could be the source of your problem. It could be a line problem, but we've never had any xon/xoff problems.
