The "Monsters of Rock" tour isn't coming to Canada, but plays Rich Stadium in Buffalo on Sunday, June 19th, featuring nine hours of live music by Van Halen, Scorpions, Metallica, Dokken, and Kingdom Come. Tickets went on sale in the U.S. last Sunday through Ticketron, but weren't available in Canada until Monday. A friend and I camped out overnight at an outlet in Buffalo. By morning we were about 20th in a line of 200. We were the only Canadians there. The "floor" seats are general admission. Concensus was that these should be avoided unless you want to get killed. I think we got reasonably good reserved seats (section C1). I phoned Ticketron in Toronto on Monday and seating was available in section C3, a couple of hundred seats farther down. I'd like to know if anyone else in Ontario got tickets, and if so, when and where. This will help determine if road trips like this are worthwhile. Also, if a few people wants tickets, I might have some extra. shawn.
