I just got an answer to an APR I submitted on March 4, 1990. The response is dated March 27, 1991. The problem was that 'plot' didn't work at sr10.2. HP claims that this is fixed in sr10.3, but it still doesn't work for me. I suspect this is because one of my nodes is down, and 'plot' depends on something that was on that node, but the error message is too vague to figure out what that might be. By the way, HP's plot program (/usr/bin/tgmr) weighs in at half a megabyte, plus another 770k of bss. The gpr plotter I wrote from scratch in an hour when HP's didn't work is just over 8k. I can't wait for HP's to start working so I can see all the whiz-bang things they must have implemented to fill up that half meg! % plot <usa.pl gm_$font_family_defn failed with status f0001
