The ADUS database management SIG needs someone to chair the SIG session for the next annual meeting being held in San Diego on August 4th. The previous SIG chair has been transferred by his employeer and no longer works with HP/Apollo workstations. If you are a user of DBMS software on HP and/or Apollo computers, please consider volunteering to chair this SIG! (or if you know of someone who *might* consider the offer I'm about to make, please nominate them!). The SIG chairman/chairwoman has the responsiblity for moderating the speakers during the SIG session at the conference (easy enough to do), working with myself to solicit speakers (a couple days of effort), and helping to collect the SIG's top items for the engineering wish-list session (about an hour's work at the conference).
