I spoke with someone at the local HP office who indicated that while the DN-10K upgrades are not generally available (due to production problems among other things), they might be available on a very limited basis to users who "can not live without them". (semi-accurate quote) This person said that HP was willing to work with these people on a case by case basis and could, potentially, "lend" (not sell) the upgrade to such people until they could move to a new platform providing the computing power that they needed. This person also mentioned such things as trade-in policies, etc., to try to get the more general power users to move without needing the upgrades. As mentioned elsewhere, this person reiterated that they were having major difficulties in producing the upgrade chips, which implies that SOME FEW chips work and the majority of each production run fail. Therefore, they probably have A COUPLE of upgrades available.... Don't everybody run out all at once....! Michael Lampi
