[comp.sys.apollo] Third party SCSI disk on HPollo 9000/{400t,425t}

Svante.Lindahl@inmic.se (05/08/91)

We've been using a Fujitsu 2266SA disk (1G formatted) on our 9000/400t
for a while without any problems. The machine has been running
Domain/OS 10.3 and/or 10.3.2. But now we need to apply some patches
to the OS in order to upgrade the system to a 9000/425t. When we
upgrade to 10.3.4 (psk8) the disk will not even mount:

	$ /com/mtvol w5:0 /w5
	?(mtvol) Unable to mount volume - controller not found (OS/I/O manager)

Anyone else have experience with third party SCSI disks on the series
9000 machines? With Fuji disks? With the 2266 disk?
Can anyone provide any hints to get our config running?
