[comp.sys.apollo] USENET LETTER 2 -- SIGS

thompson@PAN.SSEC.HONEYWELL.COM (John Thompson) (05/21/91)

USENET_LETTER Signatories --

I got back in touch with the volunteer (victim?) for European signatures.
He's ready(?) and able(!) to collect them. Therefore, if it's more convenient,
send signatures over to him (same format, rules, etc.)

preferred:
----------
 JANET: netpower@uk.ac.man.ee.els or net-anon@uk.ac.man.ee.els
  ARPA: netpower@els.ee.man.ac.uk or net-anon@els.ee.man.ac.uk
  UUCP: ...!mcsun!ukc!man.ee.els!netpower or ...!mcsun!ukc!man.ee.els!net-anon

if the above fail:
------------------
 JANET: dente@uk.ac.manchester
  ARPA: dente@manchester.ac.uk or dente%uk.ac.manchester@nsf.ac.uk
  UUCP: ...!mcsun!ukc!manchester!dente

If the latter set of addresses are used, make sure the subject line clearly
states that it is a netpower signature, and definitely states if it is to
be anonymous.

Note that Colin has set up separate mail-accounts 'netpower' and 'net-anon'.
Use these if possible when sending signatures to him. It would be best if
I did the same, but I fear for our mailer if I did (ever try to get Mentor
mail to coordinate with anything else?) Therefore, I will continue to
solicit signatures at my original addresses:
       thompson@pan.ssec.honeywell.com (129.30.60.41)
       thompson@animal.ssec.honeywell.com (129.30.60.1)
I don't play around w/ the mail enough to give a UUCP address, except that
you should probably bounce it off of uunet or some other well connected machine.
