A colleague of mine has asked if there is any Apollo software available at discount through the university setting. Can anyone help me out? Frank SImmons

Frank, If you will e-mail me (or phone) your address, I will send you the Apollo "Educational Applications Catalog". It is rather large (one-inch thick!). Regards, Dale Hammer - Indianapolis (317)844-4100

Talk to you local Apollo/HP sales office. Apollo discounts all of their hardware at 38% and their software at up to 90% to universities. Mathematica, IWrite, IDraw, IPaint (SunWrite, SunDraw, SunPaint ported to X windows), and WingZ were being bundled with all new Motorola 68020 68030 machines the last time I checked. -- David Krowitz krowitz@richter.mit.edu (18.83.0.109) krowitz%richter.mit.edu@eddie.mit.edu krowitz%richter.mit.edu@mitvma.bitnet (in order of decreasing preference)

See your local HP/Apollo sales rep. I believe they offer a 90% discount to universities etc.

In the last few weeks, a number of articles have appeared here discussing software of potential value to Apollo users. I am currently in the process of preparing a new/improved/enlarged version of the ADUS library for distribution at the summer ADUS conference, and am still seeking any packages that might be of value to the ADUS community at large. (Much of this community does not read comp.sys.apollo., or have direct Internet access). I would like to encourage anyone who thinks they may have software of potential value to other users to consider making it available through the ADUS library. I can be reached as shown below. Thanks in advance, Dave Shaw librarian@adus.ecn.uiowa.edu (303) 443-9413
