I've noticed that the mounted disk devices on the 400 series nodes show up as /dev/wn96a. I haven't seen anything in /dev but wn0a, however. And when I was messing with mounting volumes after booting diskless, I noticed that /dev/wn0a seemed to mount-- the file system was accessible--but it didn't show up as a mounted device, and unmounting by any name seemed to be a problem (I crashed the node through other foolishness before I made any progress unmounting the disk 8-). I presume this is a side-effect of the newer disks being SCSI devices. Can someone explain what's happening? Thanks, -- Eric Bushnell Univ of Washington Civil Engineering etb@u.washington.edu
