Sounds like the Snake will look like my PC with DPCI/Ring does today.
ie:
$ bldt -n 14726
**** Node 14726 **** 14726
DOS 3.30 with DOMAIN(R)/PCI(TM) XPORT 3.00 - November 19, 1987 6:54:00 pm
$
BTW You can give the node a name using the naming server. I had our
PC named 'dn10k' for a while... (Apollo called the 10000 'Advanced
Technology' (AT) during development) It then could be addressed as:
$ bldt -n //dn10k
But this also messed up a bunch of our scripts that implicitly expected
cataloged nodes to be full Domain/OS. If we get Snakes and OSF we
would probably go back and fix the scripts, but since it's only one
PC it's easier to leave it uncataloged for now...
