[comp.sys.apollo] PS2VDS

bonnetf@apo.esiee.fr (bonnet-franck) (06/06/91)

Hi,

Does somebody knows if a ps2vds exist ?

I explain, we need a translator from VDS to PostScript.

( VDS = Versatec Data Standard )

We have here a wonderful V3424 color plotter from Versatec(XeroX)
It is a 24 In 400 dpi with roll paper.

We CANNOT plot anything else that MENTOR-GRAPHICS plots ...
Because we only have a MG driver for this color plotter
(which, of course, prints ONLY Mentor graphics files).

The positive thing is the driver accept tranparent spool.

So we would like to generate a VDS file with a PS file.

Is it possible ?

On a related issue, does anyone know of a ps2hpgl or ps2c907 (calcomp)
converter?
