I've got an Apollo at 10.3.2 (DN3000) that I'm trying to hook to a Sun running 4.1.1. (Don't laugh!) There's also a PC on this ethernet. The PC can 'ping' both the Apollo and the Sun. The Apollo and the Sun, however, cannot ping each other. It appears as if they will both talk to the PC but they won't talk to each other (no surprise, huh?). My question is: 1) Why? 2) Is this something to do with the -c switch to /etc/tcpd? 3) Is this a known bug? Thanks in advance for any assistance. -- Dave Hayes - Network & Communications Engineering - JPL / NASA - Pasadena CA dave@elxr.jpl.nasa.gov dave@jato.jpl.nasa.gov ames!elroy!dxh When you have been your own teacher for a time, you may be ready to find someone else who can teach you.
