[comp.sys.sequent] benchmark for S81

I am interested in benchmarks on the new Symmetry machine. In particular I am interested
in timing and MFLOPS in solving a system of 1,000 linear equations in 1,000 variables
(Ref. Table 6  ''Toward Peak Performance'' in "Performance of various computers Using
standard linear equations software in a fortran environmment" by J.J. Dongarra, Argonne
National Laboratory Tech. Mem. 23, November 1987).

In the same report the Sequent Balance 21000 with 30 processors is rated at 1.5MFLOPS.
