We just switched from a VAX 750 running Mt. Xinu's 4.3 BSD to a
Sequent B8. We've run into an interesting variety of problems. 8-)
One of the major ones is that we're having more users who call in who
are getting garbage when connected to the local modems. The modems
are configured the same as they were before and we copied over the
same gettytab (with no major alterations). Testing has shown that the
modems are connected at the same baud rate but the incoming line gets
a ton of garbage that ^C or ^O or @ doesn't clear.
