Has anyone tried using the X11 Athena widget set with Sequent's parallel programming library? I thought it would be interesting to attach a m_fork or fork to a callback function (no more busy cursors etc). I tried a simple test with the hello world program e.g., % cc xhw3.c -lXaw -lXmu -lXt -lX11 -lpps -o hw % hw X Toolkit Error: Can't Open Display If you take all the microtasking code out and just recompile with -lpps you get the same result. It works fine without -lpps. Also if you compile a non-toolkit program with -lpps (I tried the ico demo program) that works. Anyone know if there are any clashes between Xaw and pps ?? -- uucp: ...!mcvax!ukc!dcl-cs!de or: ...!uunet!comp.lancs.ac.uk!de arpa/janet: de@comp.lancs.ac.uk +44 524 65201 ex 3784 "The Bluebird of happiness long absent from his life, Ned is visited by the chicken of depression"
